A new “Agir ensemble” (Act Together) label for 2023

On The January 18, 2023

As part of its Energy and Ecological Transition strategy, the Université de Lyon and the Crous de Lyon have once again been awarded the “Agir ensemble pour des campus durables dans des villes durables” (Act together for sustainable campuses in sustainable cities) label for 2023.

Having been first awarded the label in 2017, the Université de Lyon supports this program with a number of regional partners, in particular with the Crous de Lyon and RESES, but also with the Métropole de Lyon, Saint-Étienne Métropole, the Banque des territoires, MGEN and CASDEN Banque populaire, which are all members of the steering committee responsible for the program.

For 2023, the label was awarded based on an action plan proposed by the steering committee. This plan includes:

  • Offering a turnkey kit to massively expand the deployment of these workshops in all of the site’s institutions;
  • Providing training to the university community for conducting outreach workshops, including the Climate Fresco;
  • Providing “Responsible Communication” and “Eco-responsible Event” training to student organizations in conjunction with RESES;
  • Analyzing and reporting on the results of the RESES 2023 National Student Consultation;
  • Implementing the “Printemps de la biodiversité” (Springtime of Biodiversity) event organized by the Crous de Lyon;
  • Setting up awareness-raising workshops at the Lyon Student Center on March 7, 14 and 21 from 5:30 PM to 8 PM (program coming soon).

Action #3 is already well underway!
All students who are members of a student organization can register to attend the first session, scheduled for March 1 from 6 PM to 8 PM, at this link.
