Discover relaxation techniques and learn how to better manage your stress with the “Two Weeks for Better Sleep” series

From January 25, 2021 to February 5, 2021

Over 45% of students say they have sleep problems, which are often due to study-related stress. Because students need a high quality of life to flourish, the Université de Lyon and the Crous de Lyon have partnered with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region to hold a two-week program promoting better sleep, running from January 25 to February 5, 2021.

As part of its health awareness program for all of its sites, the Université de Lyon has teamed up with the Crous de Lyon to organize the fourth “Two Weeks for Better Sleep” workshop series.
The aim is to raise students’ awareness of how important it is to take care of themselves and to get a good night’s sleep in order to succeed in their studies.

So during this two-week program, each student will be given the opportunity to take part in three workshops in their own school, where they will discover different techniques to help manage stress and get ready to sleep.


  • Meditation for better sleep and stress management
  • How yoga can help reduce stress and improve sleep // NEW //
  • Sophrology for stress management and improved sleep quality
  • The benefits of essential oils and how to use them properly

These workshops will take place online or in-person from January 25 to February 5, 2021, in each institution taking part in the “Two Weeks for Better Sleep” workshops.
