- The Université de Lyon, partner of the Métropole de Lyon’s new Regional Climate Air and Energy Plan
The Métropole de Lyon has just unveiled its new Regional Climate Air and Energy Plan (Plan Climat Air Énergie Territorial – PCAET). The Université de Lyon and the Crous de Lyon are once again PCAET co-signatories, and together with the other partners, have pledged to work towards a carbon-neutral and climate-friendly area by 2050.
The PCAET, signed on November 28, 2019, is a long-term strategy which aims to transform the City of Lyon into a carbon-neutral and climate-friendly area by 2050. - Climate Plan Partnership
By signing the Saint-Étienne Métropole Regional Climate and Energy Plan on October 13, 2015 and that of the Métropole de Lyon on November 12, 2015, the Université de Lyon reaffirmed its commitment to the Energy and Ecological Transition alongside local authorities and companies in the region.
- A commitment to the Water Agency
Since then, the university has made a commitment to the water authority by signing the metropolitan contract for the sustainable management of water.
- Signing the Sustainable Building Plan Charter
On October 11, 2017, the Université de Lyon was among the 14 institutions to sign the Sustainable Development Plan charter for energy and environmental efficiency in public and private tertiary buildings.
