France stimulus package: in 2022, the Université de Lyon will provide support to 5 of its institutions in order to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings

Launched in September 2020, the stimulus package’s call for building energy renovation projects received more than 6,000 applications. 4,214 projects have been selected, representing a total of 2.7 billion Euros in funding.

For the Lyon and Saint-Étienne sites, 18 institutions have been selected for 96 operations, representing a total amount of 100.1 million Euros. Five projects are being led by the Université de Lyon on behalf of its institutions, with a total budget of 18 million Euros, which is almost 20% of the entire budget allocated for the Lyon Saint-Étienne site.
