They make the Université de Lyon: the GAELIS organization

On The July 2, 2019

The Université de Lyon met with members of the GAELIS organization, winners of the Université de Lyon’s Student Initiative Fund’s call for projects, with their PSTTE project.

Can you tell us about your project?

The Take Care of You and Your Environment (PSTTE) project is a week of activities to raise awareness of sustainable development and student well-being. We will host a week of free activities for students, in partnership with our network of organizations. These activities include: DIY workshops, sophrology classes, plogging (jogging while collecting litter), disco soup, free smoothies, rafting trips, planting seeds in the university, etc. These activities are all related to sustainable development and student well-being, helping students to appreciate the importance of taking care of themselves during their studies as well as their work environment. These activities are free and available to all students.

How has the Student Initiative Fund (FIE) allowed you to move forward?

The FIE grant has allowed us to organize a number of activities on several campuses in Lyon. Thanks to the grants, we were able to reach more than 450 students from six different campuses. For this first edition, we are very pleased to have been able to call the FIE one our partners.
