On The November 14, 2020

The Université de Lyon has teamed up with the Nightline Lyon and the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes to officially launch its night-time hotline on Saturday, November 14, 2020. This free night-time helpline is run by students from Lyon and Saint-Étienne, for students from Lyon and Saint-Étienne, and will be available every day from 9:00 PM to 2:30 AM, both via online chat and by phone.

NIGHTLINE HAS A NEW BRANCH, AND IT’S IN LYON!

Nightline is a free and anonymous listening, support and information service (and online chat) especially for students.

After its 2017 launch in Paris, Lyon is now part of the adventure! This late-night hotline is run by student volunteers from the Lyon and Saint-Etienne sites and is supported by the Université de Lyon. It provides a supportive and caring environment in which young people experiencing difficulties with student life can open up and talk about their problems (stress, anxiety, excessive workload, etc.).
