The free night-time listening service, provided by students for students, is back!

On The September 6, 2021

After being closed for the summer break, the Lyon – Saint-Étienne free student listening service, supported by the Université de Lyon and run by students, for students, will re-open on September 6.

THE UdL NIGHTLINE IS BACK!

Nightline is a free and anonymous listening, support and information service (and online chat) especially for students.

After its 2017 launch in Paris, Lyon joined the initiative in 2020! This late-night hotline is run by student volunteers from the Lyon and Saint-Etienne sites and is supported by the Université de Lyon. It provides a supportive and caring environment in which young people experiencing difficulties with student life can open up and talk about their problems (stress, anxiety, excessive workload, etc.).

“BECAUSE TAKING CARE OF YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IS ESSENTIAL!”

In order to provide students with information about the French health care system and to improve their access to healthcare, the Université de Lyon has partnered with its institutions, the Crous de Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region to launch a new portal containing all the information, procedures, services and contacts students need to better take care of their physical and mental health.
