On The January 31, 2022

The Université de Lyon COMUE is supporting its institutions by implementing a Test-Alert-Protect strategy in order to limit the spread of Covid-19 and break chains of contamination. An action led thanks to financial support from the Métropole de Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

In February 2022, thanks to financial support from the Métropole de Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Université de Lyon COMUE will make 10,000 self-testing kits available free of charge to its schools and universities.

WHAT IS SELF-TESTING?

A Covid self-test kit is a simple antigen test that you can perform yourself and read your own results. All you have to do is follow the instructions provided in the “user guide”.
The currently approved sampling method is nasal self-sampling, which is not as deep as nasopharyngeal sampling used in conventional RT-PCR and antigen tests. The result is usually given in fifteen to twenty minutes, according to the manufacturer’s instructions*.

Together, we can stop the spread of this virus.

This strategy is led by the Université de Lyon COMUE, with financial support from:
