The Université de Lyon takes second place at the European Universities Games Lodz 2022

With thirteen medals, including six gold, the athletes and coaches of the UdL Sports Association (AS UdL) finished in second place at the EUSA Games 2022, the European University Championships, which were held from July 17 to 30 in Lodz (Poland).
The students of the Université de Lyon performed extremely well in Lodz during the fifth edition of the EUSA Games. With a total of thirteen medals, they helped France become the fourth-ranked European nation, following Turkey, Poland and Ukraine.
THE UNIVERSITÉ DE LYON’S RESULTS AT THE EUSA GAMES 2022
- Six gold medals (Men’s 50m backstroke, Men’s 100m butterfly, Men’s 50m butterfly, Women’s 200m backstroke, Women’s 100m freestyle and Women’s 4x100m freestyle relay);
- Six silver medals (Men’s 100m backstroke, Men’s 4x100m freestyle relay, Mixed 4 × 100 freestyle relay, Women’s 50m butterfly, Women’s 50m freestyle and Women’s 4 × 100 medley relay);
- One bronze medal (200m butterfly).
