The Campus Arts Festival on the Charles Mérieux Campus

The Campus Arts Festival is being held as part of the Arts and Culture in Higher Education Days, usually referred to in French as "“JACES”" days (Journées des Arts et de la Culture dans l’enseignement supérieur), for which nearly forty events will be organized over three days on the Lyon Saint-Étienne university sites.

Discover the nine events organized on the Charles Mérieux campus at the Descartes site, whether it be at the Artemisia Gallery, the Crous University Restaurant, or the Kantor Theater.

  • “Noon Concert”
    Musician students from the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMD) will play the following educational masterpieces: Mikrokosmos by Bartók , Játékok by Kurtág, The Well-Tempered Clavier by Bach, Études by Ligeti,…

  • “Behind-the-scenes at a University restaurant”

  • “Photography Preference #35: Didier Ben Loulou”
    In 2018, Didier Ben Loulou published “Sud” (Table Ronde editions) and” Un hiver en Galilée” (Arnaud Bizalion editions). Didier Ben Loulou, traveler, photographer, writer and faithful follower of the sun, will give a masterclass for students enrolled in the “Literature and Photography” research and education program at the ENSP/ENS.
