End of the 28th Science Fair
The 28th Science Fair, held in the Rhône County and organized by the Université de Lyon, took place from 3 to 13 October, 2019 under the theme “Telling the story of science, imagining the future”. Let's take a look back at this unforgettable scientific event.
With more than 50,000 visitors over ten days, the 28th Science Fair will be remembered not only for its highlights, such as the county launch at the Musée des Confluences and the many various activities on offer, but also for the involvement of the many researchers, PhD students, pupils, organizations, companies, libraries, media libraries, local authorities, artists, etc.
A total of 200 organizations took part in this event in one way or another. These organizations, representing the research, teaching, cultural and economic sectors, were once again successful in providing visitors with a great program.
A lot of sulky teenagers were dragged out by their parents and grandparents, with their headphones stuck to their ears, but came away from the event two hours later with great big smiles on their faces!

There was a lot of very positive feedback, and the organizers had just as much fun as the visitors.
