The École urbaine de Lyon unveils its 2022 public lectures program

From January 24, 2022 to June 30, 2022

For the fourth year running, the École urbaine de Lyon is organizing a series of public lectures on urban and anthropogenic issues. Eleven research professors will present their work over the course of five or six sessions, starting during the “À l’École de l’anthropocène” (At the Anthropocene School) week through to the end of June 2022.

The École urbaine de Lyon’s public lectures are modeled on the lectures given at the Collège de France. The idea is to encourage researchers of all disciplines from the Université de Lyon, other institutions and elsewhere in the world to share their research findings with all who wish to attend these sessions, which are open to all, with no academic requirements and no final evaluation, with the aim of bringing scientific knowledge back to the heart of society.

The lectures, which started during the 2022 “À l’École de l’anthropocène” week, can be attended in person or viewed on the École urbaine de Lyon’s YouTube channel.
