Inter-University seminars are back! Call for participation

From April 30, 2019 to May 23, 2019

Following the success of the first Inter-University seminar, which covered the layout and design of spaces at the university, the four universities at the Lyon Saint-Étienne site are holding a second event on April 30, May 14, and May 23, this time highlighting new educational approaches.

The Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, the Université Lumière Lyon 2, the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and the Université Jean Monnet have launched Inter-University seminars in order to build joint projects through collaborative, creative and innovative thinking.

The Université de Lyon is pleased to invite you to take part in the second event. This event is being organized by the Center for Professional Development and Educational Innovation, and its theme will be “How effective are new educational approaches, and what challenges do they pose for teachers?”

It is built on a simple concept, with a series of three dates to come up with, carry out and materialize ideas related to a given theme:

  • On April 30 at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM: ideation;
  • On May 14 at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM: prototyping;
  • On May 23 at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, from 9 AM to 3 PM: writing specifications.

The final day will take place in the presence of Christelle Lison, associate professor at the department of education in Sherbrooke University’s Faculty of Education, who specializes in innovative curricula and educational methods in higher education.
