Take part in the LudiMoodle Science Day: “using games to motivate students”
For the past five years, the LudiMoodle project, supported by the Université de Lyon, has been exploring how games can be used as a learning tool and as a way to motivate students. After a great deal of research, development, and incorporating game elements into a digital environment, the project teams conducted experiments and developed adaptive technologies that take into account the needs of individual students.
THE LUDIMOODLE SCIENCE DAY: IMPACT AND PROSPECTS
The aim of the LudiMoodle Science Day is to share and discuss how LudiMoodle has helped motivate students in 8th grade mathematics, and to identify the conditions for successfully using this digital environment.
The idea is to present the experiments conducted, the scientific results obtained and the collaborative approach used, and to discuss them with all the communities involved in this project, including the university community (research professors, doctoral students and support staff), the civil community (companies) and the educational community (high school teachers, inspection authorities, school principals and academic Boards).
The LudiMoodle Science Day will take place on November 15, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, at the Académie de Lyon Rectorat Auditorium – the Croix-Rousse site – 47 rue Philippe de la salle 69004 Lyon.
Access is free, subject to prior registration and presentation of a valid Health Pass.Registration deadline: Friday, October 29, 2021.

What is LudiMoodle?
LudiMoodle is a research project which aims to develop innovative student-centric learning methods through games. The project is being led by the Université de Lyon as part of the Investments for the Future Program's call for "Areas for Training, Research and Digital Animation (e-FRAN)" projects which was launched by the State in January 2017 and organized by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.
► Bridging the gap between different research studies at the nexus of education and information sciences, this project brings together the Académie de Lyon’s Board of Education, the Université Lumière Lyon 2, the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, and the Edunao company, in order to discuss current educational challenges.
