The Université de Lyon's Disrupt'Campus

The Digital Transformation University program

Bringing together students from different disciplines in initial or continuous training to work on digitalization projects proposed by companies, organizations or local authorities. Training is available for these projects (600 hours: 1/3 training; 2/3 project).

The project is run by the Université de Lyon. It follows the call for “Disrupt’Campus” projects, as part of the Investments for the Future Program launched by the State in November 2016, and run by Bpifrance.
Its aim is to train employees, business leaders, students in initial training or job-seekers to manage digital transformation projects.

The program closely involves students and organizations offering multidisciplinary team assignments. Teaching provided by professor-researchers from the Université de Lyon’s institutions, as well as consultants from companies in the region.
In 2018 and 2019, students will have completed 20 innovation projects for 13 different organizations. It involves either transforming a process or creating new activities through the use of digital tools:

  • The process of promoting and producing a cultural service for the general public;
  • Controlling fluid consumption on a petrochemical platform (IoT);
  • A collaborative process within a network of day care centers in central-eastern France;
  • Creating a management company in the field of intellectual property;
  • Creating a company which offers digital services for managing building construction projects.
