A look back at the 2020 Winter Session organized as part of the Accelerated Young Companies (JEA) program

From January 24, 2020 to January 25, 2020

On January 24 and 25, the entrepreneurs selected for the 2020 Accelerated Young Companies (JEA – Jeunes Entreprises Accélérées)* pre-acceleration program came together for a weekend to take part in the Winter Session.

The Winter Session is held once a year; its main objective is to help entrepreneurs to prepare their start-ups and therefore plan ahead for the development of their project. This is a real highlight of the BEELYS Accelerated Young Companies (JEA) pre-acceleration program. The young entrepreneurs took part in two days of intensive training, using a number of techniques to ensure that their product or service meets a genuine market need before shifting up a gear.

This event also provides an opportunity for them to discuss and share their successes, failures and best practices.

A number of sporting activities were organized throughout the weekend in order to create a sense of true community spirit and motivate the participants. This year, participants had the opportunity to meet with Newfel Ouatah, the French boxing heavyweight champion (2010-2012, 2014 and 2019). Newfel made the trip especially to teach participants the values of boxing and to provide them with an initiation that they are sure to remember for many years to come.
