Applications are now open for the Young Researchers Special Start-Up Program

PULSALYS is launching the sixth program for local young doctors who are interested in creating a start-up. This program is supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Foundation for the Université de Lyon, via the PEPITE BEELYS.

The Young Researchers Special Start-Up Program is designed help young doctors promote the results they generated while writing their thesis or during their post-doctorate careers, and support them in transferring these findings to an existing company or in creating a Deep Tech start-up.

The program includes three phases:

  1. Submit your applications for the Young Researchers Program.
  2. Bootcamp: a tailor-made program designed by PULSALYS and PEPITE BEELYS of the Lyon Saint-Étienne Entrepreneurship Center, which is led by the Université de Lyon and the Foundation for the Université de Lyon. The program enables participants to:
    • Improve their skills and learn more about innovation;
    • Explore the first hypotheses for developing their projects;
    • Tackle the challenges facing the economic world;
    • Prepare for the jury hearing
  3. Project development: once they have been submitted to the jury, the best projects that are in line with the associated structures’ criteria will receive guidance, support and will be launched.

The closing date for applications is October 15, 2021, at noon.

As part of this course, PULSALYS will offer the “Objectif i-PhD” program, which is entirely dedicated to preparing for the i-PhD competition, launched by Bpifrance and the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
