On The June 28, 2021
The Université de Lyon met with Sadam Salek Siby, an alumnus of the September 2020 graduating class of the Digital Transformation University Diploma (DUTN) program.
Tell us about your journey before beginning the Digital Transformation University Diploma.
Trained as a lawyer and graduate of a Master 2 in Business Law at the Université de Besançon, I have also had the opportunity to work in the business world in various positions. I first worked as a trainee lawyer in a law firm and as a judicial officer. I then became a business formalities advisor at the Business Formalities Center in Burkina Faso. Following that, I set up as an independent consultant and I assisted more than a dozen organizations in their business creation process.
In practice, what did you gain from this program? What stood out the most for you?
This program allowed me to gain a clear understanding of the current digital environment for businesses. It also helped me to understand the concepts and strategies of digital transformation in companies, the management of digital projects, etc. Furthermore, thanks to the project carried out within the OSIRIS economic interest group, I am now aware of the digital issues surrounding the protection of personal data. What impressed me the most was the availability of the team in charge of the training and the quality of the teaching provided.
What are you doing now?
I am currently working on a company creation project in the field of LegalTech. It involves a digital platform for legal professionals located in West Africa (OHADA).
