A series of podcasts to follow the French-Brazilian partnership’s latest scientific news

As part of the scientific partnership between France and Brazil, the French Consulate-General in São Paulo and the Brazil section of the Institut des Amériques are organizing a series of podcasts for the general public entitled “Between France and Brazil: the latest on this scientific partnership”. The second podcast episode presents one of the joint projects that was selected in the 2020 FAPESP/Université de Lyon call for projects.

The podcast series created by the French Consulate-General in São Paulo and the Brazil section of the Institut des Amériques entitled “Between France and Brazil: the latest on this scientific partnership” is available to the general public.Each episode presents the research carried out by Brazilian and French researchers as part of scientific collaboration projects between the two countries.

One of the episodes focuses on the work of Michel Rautenberg, anthropologist and Professor of Sociology at the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, and Artur Rozestraten, architect, urban planner, and Professor at the Architecture and Urbanism College at the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP).

They are co-leaders of the “Urban imaginaires: comparative perspectives, experiments and exchanges between the metropolises of Lyon/Saint-Étienne and São Paulo” project, which was selected as part of the 2020 FAPESP/Université de Lyon joint call for projects.
