Signing of a framework agreement with the Kuwaiti Embassy’s Cultural Office in France

On November 14, 2019, the Université de Lyon and the Kuwaiti Embassy’s Cultural Office in France signed a collaboration framework agreement.

Thanks to its outstanding reputation in terms of the warm welcome received by its foreign students, and with the site opening up to Middle Eastern countries, the Université de Lyon has been identified by Kuwait as a key French player in student mobility.

This framework agreement, signed in Paris on November 14, 2019, will be divided into specific cooperation agreements with the Université de Lyon’s higher education member institutions.

Together with Ghanem Marrakchi, Head of the Maghreb/Middle East mission at the Université Jean Monnet and Guillaume Rousset, Vice-President of the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in charge of International Relations, Khaled Bouabdallah, President of the Université de Lyon, has made a pledge to:  (...) facilitate exchanges between professor-researchers, researchers, post-doctoral researchers, PhD students, particularly in relation to thesis co-supervision, and students, including for first-time research activities in our site's laboratories.

This official signature follows a visit to the Université de Lyon by Dr. Yacoub Alshammari, Cultural Attaché from the Kuwaiti Embassy’s Cultural Office in France.
