The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region launches a call for “Amorçage Europe” projects

On The April 1, 2021

This call for projects is open year-round and aims to provide financial support to researchers and higher education institutions to help them prepare their responses to the European Commission’s calls for projects in research, innovation and training.

In order to encourage the development of European projects, “Amorçage Europe” (Starter Europe) supports research projects conducted in response to a call for projects from the European Commission in the “research and innovation” and “training” sectors.

This is the framework for presenting preparatory actions for submitting European Research Council (ERC) applications. The aim is to strengthen France’s involvement in these European projects and to increase the Region’s success rate in future ERC calls.

“Amorçage Europe” projects may only receive funding for one year. The completion deadlines will be specified in the funding agreements.

Applications may be submitted at any time during the year and will be reviewed by the Region’s services within two months of their submission. Once the applications have been processed, they will be submitted to the Permanent Commission for a vote.

Projects can be submitted via the online platform as of April 1, 2021.
Applications are submitted by higher education and research institutions located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region or belonging to the COMUE.
