Arqus Alliance: year-round training opportunities for the Lyon and Saint-Étienne sites’ doctoral students and young researchers

A wide range of opportunities are available to doctoral students and young researchers from our member institutions, from specialized online courses and online summer and winter schools, to a wide range of other events and seminars led by world-renowned specialists.

The Arqus European University brings together the universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padua and Vilnius. The aim is to design, develop and implement an innovative inter-university cooperation model through various forms of exchanges and collaborations.At the Lyon and Saint-Étienne sites, the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and the Université Jean Monnet are all involved. 

The offer is constantly evolving and is regularly updated, thanks to the programs provided by the Arqus partner universities.

Science and Society towards the Sustainable Development Goals (from June 7 to June 17, 2021)

A series of summer schools organized by the University of Bergen (Norway). A multidisciplinary program consisting of six cross-disciplinary courses (health, higher education, climate change, marine and aquatic life, corruption and inequalities) that are specifically designed to explore how the biosphere, society and the economy can contribute to achieving sustainable development objectives.

REWI Graz Day of IN(ter)DI(sciplinary) Research 2021 (June 18, 2021)

On June 18, 2021, the University of Graz Law School (Austria) is organizing a one-day event focusing on the legal aspects of the theoretical and methodological challenges involved in interdisciplinary research. The main focus will be on climate change, artificial intelligence and self-driving vehicles, as well as digitization and cybersecurity.
