Arqus: two calls for applications to develop teaching in English

From December 1, 2020 to January 15, 2021

The University of Graz runs two programs to improve its teaching in English as part of the Arqus European University Alliance. These are “Certificate Teaching in English” and “Online Advanced Course”.

The Arqus European University brings together the universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padua and Vilnius. The main aim of Arqus is to act as a platform for institutional learning that serves as a basis for developing, testing and implementing an innovative inter-university cooperation model.

As part of the fourth thematic area, a “Multilingual and multicultural university” , the University of Graz runs two programs for its teaching staff to help them develop their English skills.

CERTIFICATE TEACHING IN ENGLISH (six days)

  • The aim is to help university professors to improve their spoken and written English skills. The training is based on the “English Medium Instruction” methodology.
  • From March 31 to April 9, 2021

ADVANCED ONLINE COURSE (four days)

  • This advanced module aims to provide teaching staff with tools and techniques to enhance online teaching in English and to develop interactive and fun teaching methods.
  • March 22, 24, 29 and 30, 2021
