Call to participate in Tongji University’s 2021 THNS Forum

The THNS2021 “Resilient City and Transport” Forum will be held online over four mornings: (Paris time) October 28 and 29 (10 AM-12:30 PM), and November 4 and 5, 2021 (9 AM-11:30 AM).

The Université de Lyon joins the communication on the THNS 2021 “Resilient City and Transport” Forum, led by the Tongji University, in partnership with the INSA Lyon and the ENTPE.

Tongji University is organizing its 14th THNS Forum exploring resilient transport for resilient cities. The forum will be held in Shanghai and can be viewed online. Supported by the agreements signed by the French and Chinese ministries, the THNS Forum aims to promote sustainable development in transport through high-level international collaborations and cooperation agreements.

The main themes of the THNS 2021 Forum are:

  1. The role of transport in ensuring economic resilience
  2. How can we use artificial intelligence to improve mobility systems?
  3. Connectivity and intelligence for small connected vehicles
  4. Innovations for managing streets and public spaces

All speakers/participants are required to register and submit their proposals directly on the event website. Registration deadlines:

  • September 5: speakers’ online registration deadline
    Proposals should include a short abstract of approximately 300 words (including the title) along with the speaker’s contact details.
  • October 10: participants’ online registration deadline
