Four researchers from the Université de Lyon institutions receive a bronze medal from the CNRS

Each year, the CNRS presents various awards to those who have made the greatest contribution to its influence and to the advancement of research.

CNRS medals are awarded to researchers and staff members who make outstanding contributions to the dynamic development and excellent reputation of the institution.

The Bronze Medal is awarded to researchers who have been recognized as specialists in their field. This medal is a way for the CNRS to encourage the researcher to continue work that has met with initial success and already produced fruitful results.
 

Four researchers from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site’s institutions have been awarded this prize for the year 2022:

  • Clément CAMP – Catalyse, polymérisation, procédés et matériaux (Catalysis, polymerization, processes and materials – CP2M – CNRS/CPE Lyon/Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1) – Rhône Auvergne Delegation – Institut de chimie (Institute of Chemistry – INC)
  • Marianne METOIS Laboratoire de géologie de Lyon (Lyon Geology Laboratory):Earth, planets and the environment (LGL-TPE – CNRS/ENS Lyon/Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1) – Rhône Auvergne Delegation – Institut national des sciences de l’Univers (National Institute of Sciences of the Universe – INSU)
  • Aurèle PIAZZA – Laboratoire de biologie et modélisation de la cellule (Cell Biology and Modeling Laboratory – LBMC – CNRS/ENS Lyon) - Rhône Auvergne Delegation – Institut des sciences biologiques (Institute of Biological Sciences – INSB)
  • Lucile SAVARY – Laboratoire de physique (Physics Laboratory – LPENSL – CNRS/ENS Lyon) – Rhône Auvergne Delegation – Institut de physique (Institute of Physics – INP)
