Launch of the new Doc’ to Job program: a program for young doctors seeking employment

On The February 17, 2020

Are you a doctor who’s been looking for work for at least five months? Would you like to join the corporate world? Do you need a helping hand? If so, then Doc’ to Job is for you!

Doc’ to Job is a tailor-made program designed to support doctors in their efforts to find a job by helping them gain confidence, express their skills and enhance their profile... with a view to securing a permanent position. The Université de Lyon has teamed up with Pôle emploi and Verneil Formation to offer a program for doctors who are registered with Pôle emploi Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and who graduated more than five months ago.

Doc’ to Job is designed to help doctors create or fine-tune their post-doctorate professional projects, better understand the world of work, develop their network and enhance their position on the job market. As part of the program, doctors will be able to take advantage of one-on-one interviews with an advising consultant, workshops based on collective intelligence, six months of mentoring provided by a working professional, a Doctor Employment Club [Club Emploi Docteurs] to help them find a job, as well as support when starting their new job and for the first few months of their career.

The first class will be launched in March 2020 (date to be confirmed). Registration is open, but places are limited (12 places).
