The 21st Year of Brain Awareness Week

From March 5, 2019 to March 20, 2019

For Brain Awareness Week from March 5 to 20, the general public will have the chance to discover advances in brain research. The event being held in Lyon for the 21st time will focus on research in the field of neuroscience, in particular in the areas of perception, action, memory and development.

Coordinated by the French Neuroscience Society, Brain Awareness Week is a unique opportunity for the general public to meet researchers, doctors and student volunteers to learn more about the brain and find out about the latest research.

The 21th international event will be held from March 5 to 20 in Lyon and surrounding cities. The program includes lectures, workshops, a show, open houses and opportunities to meet the scientists who explore the mysteries of this incredible organ on a daily basis.


The Université de Lyon and the Brain Awareness Week

This year, the Université de Lyon is pleased to host two lectures in its facilities:
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders: state of knowledge and ethical issues
