The Science Shop program is on display at INSA’s Marie Curie Library

From September 16, 2019 to October 4, 2019

To mark the start of the academic year, the Marie Curie library is hosting the Science Shop program’s exhibition until October 4, 2019. This is an opportunity to discover this program which enables organizations and citizen groups to receive expert advice from a team of academics by bringing students from various subject areas together.

Citizens have established a multitude of sustainable development, health and solidarity initiatives in order to respond to growing social/environmental challenges and changes. The Université de Lyon’s Science Shop program has supported such initiatives since 2013, by encouraging discussions and collaboration between organizations and the research community. Immerse yourself in the program through the field reports and photos presented at the exhibition. And what better way to encapsulate the Science Shop’s work and the diversity of the projects it supports?

Participatory group housing, energy resilience, providing better support for healthcare channels… This year’s projects led by Masters or 5th year students cover a wide range of areas. Supervised by university researchers, these students will address the problems proposed by organizations as part of their end-of-study internship.

Applications are open until November 4!
