On The January 11, 2022
The Université de Lyon congratulates the two young researchers from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site who have received prestigious “Starting Grants” from the European Research Council (ERC) for their research projects.
The ERC Starting Grants’ call for projects was aimed at young researchers who completed their PhD within the last two to seven years. The aim is to provide funding for exploratory research projects over a period of up to five years, with a grant of 1.5 million euros.
This year, two of the recipients are from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site:
- Clément Camp, CNRS researcher at the Catalysis, polymerization, processes and materials laboratory (Laboratoire de Catalyse, Polymérisation, Procédés et Matériaux – CP2M, CPE Lyon/Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1/CNRS);
- Audrey Bienfait, CNRS researcher at the Physics Laboratory at the ENS de Lyon (CNRS/ENS de Lyon).
