The Université de Lyon's academic colleges

The colleges bring together the training and research facilities for each disciplinary field.

The mission of the colleges concerns the strategy and vision for all the academic components. They aim to:
  • Improve discipline-specific initiatives in cooperation with national and international administrative supervisions, partners and bodies;
  • Maximize the use of resources and the distribution of posts in line with the site's scientific strategy;
  • Increase synergies between communities to build constructive partnerships;
  • Strengthen the site's position vis-à-vis national strategies and European calls for tenders;
  • Give substance to the site's scientific and teaching strategy;
  • Strengthen the site's international position.
