L’Étudiant has named Lyon the second best city to study in
On The September 17, 2021
L’Étudiant magazine’s 2021/22 rankings have once again placed Lyon as the second best city for student quality of life.
L'Étudiant magazine’s list of student cities is based on five criteria: attractiveness, training offer, student life, lifestyle and employment opportunities.
Lyon takes joint second place with Rennes, with Toulouse in first place and Strasbourg in third. These are followed by Montpellier, Nantes and Grenoble.
Saint-Étienne has moved up six , which means that it has gained the most places in this year's rankings.
An excellent award for the city of Lyon, which was already named the “Second best student city in France” in July 2020 by the new Figaro Étudiant ranking.
This second place ranking is a result of the collaborative efforts of the Université de Lyon, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Lyon and Saint-Étienne metropolitan areas, and the City of Lyon.
