Apply now for the 2023 edition of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region’s International Ambition scheme
From February 2, 2023 to April 14, 2023
The Ambition International call for projects aims to strengthen the reputation and recognition of higher education and research in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
As part of the Plan Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 2022-2028 for the economy, employment, training and innovation and the Regional Plan for Higher Education, Research and Innovation (SRESRI), the Region has confirmed its support for local higher education and research institutions in order to train more engineers, technicians and scientists, develop partnerships with companies, support transitions and support students' entrepreneurial initiatives.
Ambition International enables international academic and scientific cooperation projects. This scheme supports international collaboration in training, research and innovation to address local issues and which are particularly relevant to the regional fields of excellence.
Priority areas and fields of excellence:
- Healthcare industry;
- Microelectronics;
- Artificial intelligence;
- Hydrogen;
- Sustainable materials.
Ambition International is aimed at public higher education institutions, institutions that issue diplomas certified by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieurs (CTI), Grandes Écoles accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), research organizations and University Hospitals (CHU). While economic players may not submit projects in their own name, they may join a Consortium led by a higher education and research institution.
Each project can receive up to €50,000 in funding.
Selection criteria
- The project must be fully integrated into the institution’s strategy;
- The level of self-funding provided by the institution based on eligible expenses;
- The quality and credibility of the project’s promotional activities and the regional support provided;
- The clarity of the deliverables with quantified indicators of achievement or/and impact;
- The consistency of the actions implemented, the associated resources and the provisional schedule;
- The quality of the partnership and its relevance to the institution’s international strategy.
The call for projects will close on Friday, April 14, 2023.
