Seven research professors from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site to be appointed as members of the Institut universitaire de France

The Université de Lyon congratulates the forthcoming appointment of seven research professors from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site as members of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) on the October 1, 2019, for a five-year period.

Each year, the IUF rewards 110 research professors. The aim of the Institut Universitaire de France is to encourage the development of top level research and to reinforce interdisciplinarity. For five years, the seven research professors will receive special promotion for their research.

Seven of the 2019 laureates come from the Lyon Saint-Étienne site. Six were appointed as junior members, and one as a senior member.

Junior members:

  • Abderrahmane Amgoune, professor at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1;
  • Élise Dumont, professor at the École normale supérieure de Lyon (ENS);
  • Marie-Céline Isaia, associate professor at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3;
  • François Lux, associate professor at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1;
  • Chloé Michaut, professor at the École normale supérieure de Lyon (ENS);
  • Charlotte Rivière, associate professor at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

Senior Member:

  • Guillaume Millet, professor at the Université Jean-Monnet, and recipient of the IDEXLYON FELLOWSHIP (see his profile).
