SYTRAL Mobilités offers young people between the ages of 18 and 25 a range of passes to allow them to travel freely on Lyon’s public transport network.

Are you between 18 and 25 years old and looking to make the most of your free time?
With a TCL network pass (zones 1 & 2*) for €25 per month, you can:

  • Save money on transport
  • Increase your purchasing power
  • Improve your quality of life


The reduced solidarity pass is reserved for scholarship students living in the Rhône, on condition that they provide a copy of their scholarship confirmation issued by the Crous or the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

The free solidarity pass is available to residents of the Rhône region, subject to certain conditions.

New for the 2025 academic year

From September 1, 2025, the three former transport networks in the Lyon region, TCL, Cars du Rhône and Libellule, will be merged to form a single network: the TCL network. This unified network, covering the entire region, will be split into 6 fare zones.

SYTRAL Mobilités is providing an interactive map, updated in real time. It shows you any potential changes to your bus routes (modified, canceled, or unchanged) and the fare zones affected.

The fares for 18-25-year-olds and 26-27-year-old students remain unchanged, and switch to zone 1 and 2 fares, which include all the campuses of the ComUE member and partner institutions in the Lyon metropolitan area.

This change should make the service clearer for residents in the Lyon metropolitan area, and improve the network’s coverage between different communities. Your weekend trips will become more accessible!
