MobiCampus, the mobility monitoring center

The campus, modes of transport and use.
To understand these changes and their impact, a team of researchers from the Université de Lyon are leading a large survey on university mobility.
MobiCampus is a research project aiming to learn more about and understand the use and needs of the university community in relation to travel. To gather data about the travel habits of the university community in Lyon and how they use the site, an online survey has been shared among the staff and students at the Université de Lyon.

The staff and students from Vet Agro'Sup and the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 were the first to help make progress in innovation and research by answering a series of customized questions about their journeys online. The users of the Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the Université de Lyon were next to take part in the survey. In three years, all the member institutions of the Université de Lyon will have completed the survey.

This project will enable us to learn more about everyday travel habits and needs. The findings from this project will give some food for thought about areas for improving travel between work, education and home, as well as on campus and between the university sites.
