About Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The Université de Lyon provides several programs that aim to help strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation in Lyon and Saint-Étienne:
  • The PEPITE Beelys, (Student Center for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship), to support students in projects setting up or taking over companies;
  • The Innovation Factory, to use the university's talents in the creation of startups and local companies;
  • The SATT PULSALYS (Technology Transfer Acceleration Office), to develop research findings at the Université de Lyon and to promote their transfer to socio-economic sectors.
  • Doctor'Entreprise, a practical scheme, run by the Université de Lyon and the MEDEF Lyon-Rhône, that brings together companies, research laboratories and PhD students.
  • The Innovation Academy, a "learning-by-doing" training program for PhD students to develop innovative projects.
