The Université de Lyon’s Sports Association (AS UdL), tied for first place in France at the FFSU MAIF Challenge 2021-2022

L’Association sportive de l’Université de Lyon a remporté le Challenge national 2021-2022 des At the 2021-2022 FFSU (French Federation for Sport at University) MAIF National Challenge of sports associations, The Université de Lyon’s Sports Association tied first place with the Université de Bordeaux.

After their victory in 2018, followed by a second place in 2019 and then two years of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the student athletes and coaches of the AS UdL have once again won this national challenge.

This performance comes in addition to the excellent track record of the AS UdL this year, which, let's not forget, took second place at the EUSA Games 2022, the European University Championships in Lodz (Poland) last July.

A special mention for INSA Lyon, which finished in third place on the podium and took first place in the FFSU MAIF National Challenge for Grandes Ecoles.

The official awards ceremony will take place on March 25, 2023, at the General Assembly of the Federation in Paris.

The Université de Lyon ComUE would like to congratulate all the student athletes as well as the AS UdL coaching team for this well-deserved national distinction.
