[PUBLIC EVENT] Pop’Sciences 2023 Festival: the event for young people, families and science lovers is back!

From May 12, 2023 to May 14, 2023

Every two years, the Université de Lyon organizes a festival in the heart of a city. With over a hundred activities that are free and open to all, the Pop’Sciences Festival is the perfect opportunity for researchers, PhD students, local cultural partners, etc., to meet local residents and share their passion for science.

The program for this 4th edition includes

More than a hundred activities that free and open to all: workshops, games, exhibitions, experiments... The fourth edition of Pop’Sciences will focus on “A world in transition”: ecological, democratic, social transition... but that’s not all! This theme is approached from many points of view: biology, history, astronomy, mobilities...

The festival is also an opportunity for visitors to meet with researchers and science enthusiasts, to discover the secrets of research, and to better understand the world around us.

From May 12 to 14, 2023, the festival will take place in the heart of Villeurbanne: at the Raphaël De Barros Sports Complex, at the Maison du Livre, de l'Image et du Son (MLIS) and at the Centre Culturel et de la Vie Associative (CCVA).
