Five Université de Lyon institutions (Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Lumière Lyon 2, Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, ENS de Lyon and Mines Saint-Étienne) and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes ‘Minalogic’ digital technology competitiveness cluster invite you to attend an afternoon of discussions with the academic and corporate communities on a variety of subjects related to artificial intelligence.

This meeting will feature academic presentations, a roundtable discussion and project examples in the form of posters and demonstrations. The aim is to present inter- and cross-disciplinary approaches to artificial intelligence that go beyond the usual boundaries of disciplinary scientific research in order to address the many challenges that companies are faced with today.

This event is the perfect opportunity to share your ideas on key issues such as developing new skills in the different areas of artificial intelligence, strengthening collaborations between the academic and corporate worlds in order to develop and transfer technologies, as well as combining efforts to address the technological challenges of the future.

  • 1:40 PM – Artificial intelligence: transferring skills from the academic world to the corporate world
  • 2:40 PM – Roundtable discussion: How can higher education support companies in adopting Artificial Intelligence to gain a competitive advantage? Led by Philippe Wieczorek, Director of Artificial Intelligence at Minalogic
  • 4:15 PM – Reception/Networking & Demo Poster session
  • 6 PM – End of the event
