About Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The Université de Lyon provides several programs that aim to help strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation in Lyon and Saint-Étienne:

The Lyon Saint-Étienne Entrepreneurship Center, to support students in their business creation or takeover project;
The Innovation Factory, to put the university’s talents at the service of the development of local start-ups and businesses;
The PULSALYS Technology Transfer Acceleration Company (SATT), to promote the results of research at the Université de Lyon and promote their transfer to the socio-economic world;
The IMPULSE University Innovation Center (PUI), to coordinate the innovation approach of the Lyon Saint-Étienne academic site;
INDULO, an industrial mediation system and a mini bicycle pedal factory to introduce industry.

These programs work hand in hand, in close connection with the local, regional and national entrepreneurial ecosystems. A range of resources, innovative training and events completes these systems.
