Lyon Saint-Étienne Entrepreneurship Center
Young and entrepreneur, it's possible!
The Lyon Saint-Étienne Entrepreneurship Center (Centre d'Entrepreneuriat Lyon Saint-Étienne) is the PEPITE (Pôles Étudiants pour l’Innovation, le Transfert et l’Entrepreneuriat) of the Université de Lyon.
Raising awareness of the entrepreneurial spirit, acquiring entrepreneurial skills, supporting business creation but also preparing for acceleration, etc.: the Entrepreneurship Center mobilizes the best professionals in the area for students.
Its mission is to raise awareness of the entrepreneurial spirit, to train in the key skills of an entrepreneur and to support young entrepreneurs from the creation of the idea to the development of their project.
Created in 2014 under the name BEELYS by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and subsequently joined by the Manufactory incubators, the Entrepreneurship Center ensures the link with the players in the ecosystem and contributes to the exchange between the academic and socio-economic worlds of Lyon and Saint-Étienne.
The Entrepreneurship Center is a system supported by the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Métropole de Lyon and Saint-Étienne Métropole.

TRAINING: Working on your entrepreneurial posture
The Entrepreneurship Center offers young people with a project the opportunity to apply for the national status of student entrepreneur (SNEE - Statut National Étudiant-Entrepreneur). The most advanced as well as young graduates under 28 can enter the "student entrepreneur" training program (D2E - Diplôme national d'étudiant entrepreneur). Two paths:
- The national status of student entrepreneur (SNEE)
This status, granted for one academic year, allows you to request to replace your internship with in-depth work on your project and to have it recognized by your institution. Many resources are offered: financing, prototyping, accommodation, international mobility, PEPITE prize, etc.
