The Lake Geneva-Transalpine region

The Université de Lyon has forged close collaborations with its cross-border partners in the Lake Geneva-Transalpine region. These include the University of Turin (UniTO), the Polytechnic University of Turin (PoliTO) and the University Conference of Western Switzerland (Conférence Universitaire de Suisse Occidentale – CUSO).

Main initiatives

• The “After The Doctorate” (“Après Le Doctorat”) resource platform, focusing on employment opportunities for doctors.
• The Cross-border doctoral workshop A multicultural, multidisciplinary and bilingual workshop to help doctoral students find employment.
  Activities: practical workshops, job interview simulations, meetings with recruiters (companies, headhunters, etc.).
