[ACADEMIC EVENT] MANUTECH-SISE organizes its seventh seminar

From October 12, 2023 to October 13, 2023

On October 12 and 13, 2023, the MANUTECH-SISE (Surface and Interface Science and Engineering) Laboratory of Excellence will organize its biennial seminar, in Marcoux, in the Loire department.

This seventh seminar will bring together around a hundred researchers belonging to its founding member laboratories of the Jean Monnet University, Mines Saint-Étienne, ENISE, École Centrale de Lyon, INSA Lyon, Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, from the HEF industrial group based in Andrézieux-Bouthéon and the GIE Manutech-USD based in Saint-Étienne.

This biennial seminar allows you to share progress and questions on completed or ongoing scientific projects, and to discover new projects:

  • How to reduce energy consumption in motors?
  • How to improve the longevity of joint prostheses?
  • How can you benefit from the latest advances in materials processing using the latest generation lasers?
  • How to control the color rendering of a surface?
So many research subjects relating to surface science and engineering, the flagship theme of this laboratory of excellence in our region.
