[PUBLIC EVENT] Students, come and take part in an inter-organizational “Clean Walk” in Lyon!

As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction, the Université de Lyon invites you to take part in a Clean Walk organized by student organizations in Lyon on November 18, 2023.

Through its Transition Network, the Université de Lyon and the Crous de Lyon created a network of committed students in 2022, composed mainly of campus environmental organizations, certain student offices (BDE - Bureau des étudiants), and elected student representatives to work on Transition issues.

The students involved in this network wanted to launch an inter-organizational and inter-institutional collective action aimed primarily at the student community: a Clean Walk.

The event will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, November 18, as part of the European Week for Waste Reduction.

This Clean Walk is organized by five organizations and supported by fifteen others, with support and assistance from the Université de Lyon and the Crous de Lyon.
 

Timetable and route

The Clean Walk will start at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Université de Lyon (92 rue Pasteur, in the 7th district of Lyon) and will include several litter picking routes organized in small groups. The walk will end with a get-together at the Université de Lyon between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
