[PUBLIC EVENT] The Université de Lyon is taking part in the 2025 Entretiens Jacques Cartier

From October 6, 2025 to October 8, 2025

Organized by the Centre Jacques Cartier (CJC), each year, the Entretiens Jacques Cartier (EJC - Jacques Cartier Meetings) bring together the main players and stakeholders from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Quebec and Canada’s French-speaking communities. The 2025 edition will take place from October 6 to 8 in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Academic, cultural, economic and institutional stakeholders are taking part in French-speaking and cross-disciplinary events, organized by members of the network of Centre Jacques Cartier partners from both sides of the Atlantic.

The theme for 2025 is “Resilience and transformation: new dynamics for a changing world”. The program for the symposiums and conferences will focus on four main topics that reflect the needs of society:

  • Health and life sciences,
  • The challenges of innovation and new technologies,
  • Economic and eco-responsible challenges,
  • Society & culture.

As a founding member of the Centre Jacques Cartier, the Université de Lyon contributes to its activities by leading the academic and scientific community. On the agenda for October 6, 2025:

Round table “Innovation ecosystems: characteristics and major transformations”

Opening Session of the 2025 Entretiens Jacques Cartier
The centerpiece of the EJC, the Opening Session brings together all partners and friends of the Centre Jacques Cartier, members of business, institutional and economic delegations, as well as project leaders and speakers featuring in this edition of the event.
