On The March 21, 2023

The Université de Lyon regional final of the international Francophone “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” competition will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 6 PM. You can watch the final in person or via live streaming on the UdL website and Facebook page.

My Thesis in 180 Seconds invites PhD students to present their research topic in simple terms to a jury and diverse non-specialist audience. Twelve PhD students from the Lyon Saint-Étienne university sites will present their research projects in three minutes in a clear and concise, yet convincing manner.

A jury made up of researchers, journalists and representatives from the socio-economic sector will then award three prizes. You will also have the opportunity to award the People’s Choice Award by attending the final!

The Université de Lyon winners of the First Jury Prize and the People’s People’s Choice Award will go on to compete in the national stage of the competition.
