[CALL FOR APPLICATIONS] The Métropole de Lyon presents its 2024 call for international projects

As part of its commitment to territorial partnerships, the Métropole de Lyon is launching a call for international projects for 2024 on the theme of “Interculturality, citizenship education and international solidarity”. Project leaders can choose between two application phases.

The Métropole de Lyon has a long history of international exchanges. As such, it supports coherent actions on major global issues, in line with the main strategic priorities of its international commitments: European strategy and regional coordination of European policies; geographical and theme-based bilateral international cooperation; development cooperation with emerging countries; internationality of the region, cultural diversity, information and awareness-raising among the general public, especially young people.
 

2024 call for projects: three themes

  1. Projects to promote intercultural initiatives
  2. Projects to promote global and European citizenship education
  3. International solidarity projects

The proposed projects will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • The identified needs and the support of local players in the areas concerned
  • The involvement of local residents and partner regions
  • The project’s multi-stakeholder & collaborative approach
  • The reciprocity of exchanges in France and abroad
  • The number of beneficiaries and the type of people concerned in France and abroad
  • Gender equality, social equity, youth involvement and inter-generational dialogue

Important dates for the call for projects

  • Launch of the call for projects: April 1, 2024
  • Deadline for submitting projects: April 22, 2024
  • The selected projects will be announced in the last quarter of 2024
