The Manutech-SLEIGHT Graduate School organized its 12th SLEIGHT Science Event, from July 8 to 10 in the premises of Telecom Saint-Étienne at the Jean Monnet University, bringing together more than 100 participants around the themes of imaging: computational reproducibility in imaging, phase contrast in X-ray imaging, electron microscopy for in situ analysis and optical microscopy in biology and medicine.

The QS Europe rankings, established by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds in association with Elsevier, were revealed on July 10. Six member institutions of the Université de Lyon were among the institutions cited in this 2024 edition.

The Université de Lyon has signed an agreement with the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Through this agreement, the CSC provides funding for 30 doctoral scholarships per year, enabling Chinese students to study for their PhD in one of the Université de Lyon’s member and associate institutions.
