First CURSUS+ lecture: The scale and factors of "success" at university
How can each student better succeed, at a time where the student body is increasingly diverse at enrollment? What can be done to encourage success as soon as students graduate from high school?
Marc Romainville’s lecture aims to discuss on the adapted academic paths and success factors for students as early as their first year of university. It is structured in three stages:

- Definitions the concepts of "success" and "failure";
- Overview of the main factors associated with failure;
- Academic approaches to promote student success.

The "scale and factors of 'success' at university" lecture is the first of a series of "Student Success" events organized as part of the CURSUS+ project. This is a three-year series of events, with one lecture per year.
The aim is to encourage people to think about student success at each key stage of undergraduate university education: enrolling and inclusion, academic paths and educational background, right through to graduation and finding employment.
