IMPULSION

OBJECTIVE

To provide an attractive research and education environment for researchers and faculty who are new to the Université de Lyon, by offering funding of up to 30,000 Euros. In particular, it aims at supporting researchers and faculty new to the Université de Lyon in developing research and educational projects.

HOW TO APPLY

The preselection phase implemented by the Member institutions of the Université de Lyon lasts until 25th October 2020.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The IMPULSION call for projects created by the Université de Lyon (UdL) is part of the IDEXLYON project. It is aimed at new researchers and faculty who have taken up a permanent position as MCF (Associate Professor), PR (University Professor), CR (Research Fellow) or DR (Research Director) at a UdL institution, as part of the 2020 wave of recruitments.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS

1. The applicant must have taken up a post as MCF (Associate Professor), PR (University Professor, CR (Research Fellow) or DR (Research Director) within a Member institution of the Université de Lyon as part of the 2020 wave of recruitments;
2. Exogenous profile (four out of six years of experience immediately preceding recruitment must have been obtained outside Université de Lyon Member Institutions).

SELECTION CRITERIA

The final selection will be based on the following criteria:

1. Scientific quality and “high potential” of the applicant;
2. Quality of experience and international profile.

The Member Institutions are responsible for submitting applications to the Université de Lyon, once preselection has been completed. For information on how to apply and all further information, please contact the head of research at your institution directly (Vice-President or Deputy Director). No requests will be handled by the Université de Lyon directly.
